Since Spunchy does not process payments between users, Spunchy does not issue refunds. All financial transactions are peer-to-peer arrangements settled directly between the driver/provider and the rider/renter.

Since Spunchy does not process, collect, or handle any payments between users, Spunchy does not issue refunds of any kind. All financial transactions on the platform are peer-to-peer arrangements settled directly between the driver/vehicle provider and the rider/renter.
This Refund Policy clarifies the responsibilities of each party and outlines how users should handle payment-related concerns.
2. No Payment Processing by Spunchy
Spunchy is a technology intermediary and not a payment gateway, merchant, or financial institution. We do not:
- Collect any service fee, commission, or platform charge from users (unless stated separately in premium tiers)
- Hold, escrow, or transfer any money on behalf of users
- Process credit/debit card transactions, UPI, wallet, or bank transfers between users
Accordingly, there is no money held by Spunchy that can be refunded to any user.
3. Cancellation Guidelines
3.1 Rider Cancellations

3.2 Driver / Provider Cancellations
- The driver must notify the rider as early as possible if cancelling
- If advance payment was made directly to the driver, the rider must negotiate return of that amount directly with the driver
- Repeated cancellations by a driver may result in account review or suspension by Spunchy
3.3 Car Rentals
Cancellation terms for car rentals are set by the individual vehicle owner or rental provider and communicated to the renter at the time of booking. Spunchy has no role in enforcing or adjudicating rental cancellation terms.
4. Dispute Resolution Between Users
In the event of a payment dispute between a rider and driver:
- Users are first encouraged to resolve the matter amicably and directly
- If resolution is not possible, users may raise a formal complaint via the Spunchy Help Centre at support@spunchy.app
- Spunchy may, at its sole discretion, act as a facilitator in the dispute and may suspend accounts of users found to have acted in bad faith
Spunchy's facilitation is provided as a courtesy and does not constitute financial liability or a guarantee of resolution.
5. Platform Fees (If Applicable)
If Spunchy introduces platform subscription fees or premium service charges in the future, the following refund terms will apply:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, unless the service is found to be materially defective
- If Spunchy is unable to provide a paid service due to a technical failure on our side, a pro-rated credit or refund may be issued at Spunchy's discretion
- Refund requests for platform charges must be submitted within 7 days of the charge date to support@spunchy.app
6. Force Majeure
Spunchy and its users shall not be held liable for cancellations or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns, strikes, or severe weather. In such cases, users are encouraged to renegotiate arrangements directly and in good faith.
